The second ingredient to a healthy low fat diet is fiber. Fiber, like protein, helps you to feel full so you don’t feel the need to snack later.
Fiber can be found in fruit or, if you’d like larger doses of fiber, complex carbs like wheat and bran are filled to the brim with fiber. Fiber can do more than help you lose weight though.
It’s an ingredient to longevity and vitality as well. It helps to keep the bowels regulated, improves heart health, and aids in the burning of cholesterol.
Including protein and fiber in each meal will make a world of difference and you’ll find that portion control doesn’t have to mean going hungry.
